I’ll be dammed!
8:24pm and there is so much more still some living left in the day could i have it any other way just to live another day to have a place to stay to keep the cold and fears away times like these i wonder should i pray to save tomorrow for another day billions pray and pretend to convince themselves there is no end but then there is I guess I only think and therefore I am Descartes was right, I’ll be dammed!

AuthorI started my "Poem-A-Day" writing exercise back in 2010. It was a way to get into the habit of writing everyday. It took awhile but once I got into it I really enjoyed the process. I took a break in 2023 to work on getting "Carbon Copy" into the wild. I also wanted to re-read my poem-a-day scribblings to see if there were any unpolished gems amongst the rubble.
